Waste management focuses on the concept of the circular economy. This is based on the approach "reduce, reuse, recycle", i.e.

  • avoid, treat or dispose of waste
  • ensure reusability
  • enable recycling.

While in the pure "linear economy" the resource reaches the end of its life cycle after use, the circular economy makes it possible to conserve resources and reduce waste. Recycling processes can be significantly improved by the addition of optical sensors and artificial intelligence (AI).

We invite you to discuss this topic with our speakers and us. This is a hybrid-event organised at c/o Osborne Clarke, Innere Kanalstr. 15, Köln an as a virtual event via Teams.
